Red flesh Dragon fruit
Compared to white flesh dragon fruit, red flesh varieties offer a richer magenta pulp with a vibrant red color that is highly attractive to consumers, especially in markets like China where red is associated with luck and prosperity. The slightly sweeter taste and striking appearance make red flesh dragon fruit ideal for fresh consumption, smoothies, and desserts. Both types are rich in fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants, contributing to their strong demand in domestic and export markets. Thanks to Vietnam’s abundant natural resources, including the favorable climate and fertile soils of Binh Thuan and Long An provinces – where our dragon fruits are cultivated – combined with advanced lamp-shading techniques, we are able to harvest dragon fruits year-round while still ensuring the best natural flavor. Each fruit, after being harvested, undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure that only the finest products reach our customers.

Export Overview
The largest market for Vietnamese red dragon fruit is China, accounting for over 70% of total exports, while emerging markets such as India, South Korea, Australia, and the Middle East are showing strong growth potential due to increasing consumer preference for healthy, vibrant-colored fruits. Compared to white flesh dragon fruit, which has a mild sweetness and Brix levels of 10–12°, red flesh dragon fruit offers a more vivid magenta pulp with a sweeter taste and Brix levels ranging from 14–16°, making it especially attractive for premium fresh consumption, smoothies, and desserts. With its year-round availability and strict quality control, Vietnamese red dragon fruit continues to strengthen its position in both traditional and new export markets.
